Cooling demand varies widely with a space's size, occupancy and internal heat gains. In homes and small offices, air conditioning systems are often enough, while on multi-zone office and hotel projects VRF / VRV systems allow each room to be controlled separately. In buildings with a central plant, fan coil systems provide quiet, balanced climate control, with unit positions planned alongside ceilings and architectural details.

On large commercial and industrial sites, chiller systems produce chilled water centrally, and we commission the cooling systems pipework together with pumps and controls. In large production halls and warehouses, low-energy evaporative cooling systems are a more economical option than closed air conditioning. On every project we calculate the cooling load first, then recommend a system by weighing capital and running costs together.
