Demolition is a specialist field that calls for careful planning around site safety and legal processes. On urban regeneration and new-build projects, controlled demolition protects neighbouring buildings, infrastructure and pedestrians while keeping dust and noise under control. Where a building stays in use during conversion or refurbishment, partial demolition removes only the necessary sections without harming the structure. On structural dismantling we segregate materials and remove them from site ready for recycling.

On refurbishment projects, roof strip-out and facade strip-out are planned together with scaffolding, fall protection and debris removal, with surveys arranged beforehand where asbestos is suspected.
