Articulated extraction arms are jointed, 360° movable arms that capture welding fumes, exhaust gases and process vapours at source before they reach the operator's breathing zone. In welding bays, vehicle workshops, laboratories and production lines they provide far more effective protection with far less air than general ventilation.
We choose arm length and diameter to suit the work area and the number of extraction points to suit the station layout. Solutions range from single-station fan-filter units to central extraction lines connecting several arms to one fan and filter. With wall, ceiling or rail mounting options we position the arms without disrupting the existing workshop layout, and commission them with fume extraction filters where required.
